John K-S Lee

Founder and Director of The Ambulatory Surgery Center at the Jefferson Pain and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Lee is board certified in Physiatry {Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation), Electromyography, Headache Management, and Interventional Pain Physicians.

Dr. Lee is a Pain Medicine Specialist and Licensed Physician Acupuncturist, and also serves on the staff of Jefferson Hospital, and UPMC-McKeesport.

Graduating from the Korea University College of Medicine in Seoul, Dr. Lee completed a rotating internship and was chosen as the best intern at graduation at the National Medical Center in Seoul, and served as Chief resident of Orthopedic Surgery. He moved to the United States in 1974, completing a three-year residency in Rehabilitation Medicine at New York University.

Dr. Lee served as Assistant Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for three years at the University of Missouri. He simultaneously served as Acting Chief of Rehabilitative Medicine, Director of the Electromyography Lab, and Chief of the Amputee-Brace Clinic of the Harry S. Truman V.A. Medical Center. He presently serves as a clinical professor at Korea University College of Medicine.

Dr. Thu Le

MD, FAAPMR

Dr. Thu Le received her medical degree from the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her physical medicine and rehab residency at Baylor College of Medicine and a pain fellowship from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Le was an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Le is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a subspecialty in pain medicine.

Joseph Phillips

RN, MSN, CRNP, FNP

Mr. Phillips received his Bachelor of Science Nursing from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. Mr. Phillips also received his MSN Family Nurse Practitioner from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Edinboro, PA and is currently attending Waynesburg College for Doctor of Nursing Practice. Mr. Phillips has certifications in BLS, ACLS, PICC, Wiser Institute trained for Central Line Placement, National Certification American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Prescriptive Authority in the State of Pennsylvania.
